Un luogo di ninfe... È un piccolo bell'edificio quello del sorgente nella Commenda di Sint-Pieters-Voeren. Qui scorre il ruscello Voer che dà il nome a questa area. La sorgente del Voer non si trova nell'edificio ma sgorga poco più in là. Dal piccolo edificio scorrono fino a 4.000 litri al minuto provenienti dall'area sorgente del Voer più in là.
L'edificio è una sorta di nymphaion. Un nymphaion è un edificio che veniva eretto in epoca greca e romana dedicato alle ninfe "che vivono presso sorgenti e fiumi".
