La leggenda intorno a questa cappella racconta che un giovane muto riacquistò la voce pregando in questo luogo per una statuetta della Madonna. La cappella di Stoepe sarebbe già stata un luogo di pellegrinaggio nel XVI secolo e questa cappella risalirebbe al 1613. Nel verde che circonda la cappella si contano 15 cappelle di circonvallazione con immagini dei Misteri di Nostra Signora.
