Fagnolle è una frazione di Philippeville nella provincia belga di Namur. Fino al 1 gennaio 1977 era un comune autonomo. Il paese è incluso nell'elenco dei più bei borghi della Vallonia. Il castello di Fagnolle, costruito su iniziativa dei conti di Hainaut, si erge su un tumulo di terra fin dal XII secolo, circondato da fossati. È dotato di una torre fortificata, che nel XV secolo fu modernizzata da Gérard d'Enghien e Marie de Fagnolle. L'antica fortezza, originariamente costruita quadrata secondo lo stile siro-palestinese e ridotta a rovina, è stata restaurata dal 1969 in conformità con la Carta di Venezia. Era l'antica fortezza dei principi di Fagnolle, tra cui il Principe Charles Joseph de Ligne, Conte di Fagnolle, della Casa Ligne.
