Bomal è un comune nella provincia belga di Brabante Wallone e una frazione di Ramillies. Il villaggio è conosciuto anche come Bomal-lez-Jodoigne, a causa della sua posizione vicina a Geldenaken, per distinguerlo dall'omonimo Bomal-sur-Ourthe nella provincia di Lussemburgo. Bomal si trova lungo la Grande Gete.
Sulla mappa di Ferraris degli anni 1770, il luogo è rappresentato come il villaggio di Bommal. Subito a nord, la mappa mostra il piccolo villaggio di Bommalette, a sud il borgo di Aleux. Bomelette formava una signoria separata. Laloux a sud apparteneva a Liegi e, con la creazione dei comuni, passò al comune di Mont-Saint-André.
