Hotton è un comune nella provincia belga di Lussemburgo. Il comune si trova nella Calestienne e a 12 km da Marche-en-Famenne e conta oltre 5000 abitanti.
Presso il Ti-Château, un antico accampamento a est del villaggio di Hotton, vengono regolarmente effettuati scavi romani. Nella attuale area cimiteriale di Hotton sono state scoperte tombe merovingie. Probabilmente Hotton aveva un'importanza militare, poiché era difesa sia dai romani che dai merovingi. In un documento del 1187, il luogo è indicato come Hottine e in scritti successivi compaiono ortografie come Hoton e Hotoin. La forma Hotton è attestata per la prima volta nel 1242.
