Neu-Moresnet è una frazione del comune belga di lingua tedesca di Kelmis nella provincia di Luik.
Fino alla rivoluzione francese, Moresnet apparteneva al ducato di Limburgo. Il corso superiore del Tüljebach formava il confine con il Sacro Romano Impero. Neu-Moresnet nacque con il nome di Prussiano-Moresnet quando il comune di Moresnet fu diviso in tre parti nel 1816, dopo il Congresso di Vienna. Il Regno dei Paesi Bassi prese la parte occidentale con l'omonimo villaggio di Moresnet, la Prussia la parte orientale dove nacque un nuovo villaggio Prussiano-Moresnet e la parte centrale, l'attuale località di Kelmis, attorno alla miniera di zinco di Altenberg / Vieille-Montagne, divenne un condominio con il nome di Moresnet Neutrale.
