Taviers è una sezione del comune belga di Éghezée situata nella Regione vallona nella provincia di Namur. La scoperta dei resti di ciò che si crede essere la famosa « taverna » menzionata sopra, di un mulino, di diverse monete, di oggetti e di ceramiche romane, mostra che i terreni del villaggio situati lungo la strada di Ramilies nel luogo detto « Le pietre », erano di fondamentale importanza per i conquistatori latini. Il sito di Taviers ha conosciuto tre campagne di scavi: verso il 1860, nel 1953 e nel 2019.
