Zellik è una frazione del comune di Asse situata nel Pajottenland nella provincia fiamminga del Brabante. Zellik era un comune autonomo fino alla riorganizzazione comunale del 1 gennaio 1977. La frazione è fortemente urbanizzata e si è fusa con l'agglomerato di Bruxelles. Zellik è menzionata nel 974 come Sethleca, in un documento in cui l'Imperatore Ottone II restituisce beni ai monaci dell'abbazia di San Bavo a Gand. Prende il nome dal più antico proprietario gallo-romano Setilius e dalla sua abitazione Setiliacum. Questo insediamento su un terreno più elevato si è successivamente sviluppato come Op-Zellik ed è l'attuale nucleo del villaggio di Zellik.
