Zellik ist ein Stadtteil der Gemeinde Asse im Pajottenland in der belgischen Provinz Flämisch-Brabant. Zellik war bis zur kommunalen Neuordnung am 1. Januar 1977 eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Der Stadtteil ist stark urbanisiert und gewachsen mit der Brüsseler Agglomeration. Zellik wird im Jahr 974 als Sethleca erwähnt, in einer Urkunde, in der Kaiser Otto II. Besitztümer an die Mönche der Sint-Baafsabtei in Gent zurückgibt. Benannt nach dem ältesten galloromanischen Besitzer Setilius und seiner Siedlung Setiliacum. Diese Siedlung auf höher gelegenem Terrain entwickelte sich später als Op-Zellik und ist der heutige Dorfkern von Zellik.
