Moresnet è un villaggio nella provincia belga di Luik ed è una frazione di Blieberg. Nel villaggio, oltre al francese come lingua ufficiale, si parla il Platdiets, un dialetto limburghese.
Fino all'abolizione del ducato di Limburg, Moresnet faceva parte della alta banca limburghese di Montzen. Proprio come il resto del ducato, Moresnet fu incluso, con l'annessione dei Paesi Bassi meridionali da parte della Repubblica Francese nel 1795, nel dipartimento Ourthe allora formato.
