L'incarico: realizzare 4 abitazioni sociali in una strada stretta, vicino al centro di Melsele. La soluzione: 4 appartamenti duplex, progettati architettonicamente come un'unità con un soppalco sul retro per far entrare il più possibile la luce solare. Il mattone ha un aspetto smaltato blu-marrone. Nella facciata principale è stata scelta deliberatamente una linea ondulata per rompere l'aspetto rigido della 'stretta' strada e dare alle persone l'opportunità di parcheggiare le loro biciclette.
