La stazione di Gent-Zuid era la stazione terminale della linea ferroviaria 59 nella città belga di Gand. La stazione Zuid si trovava nel parco Re Alberto. Aveva un ingresso principale orientale su piazza Graaf van Vlaanderen. La piazza a nord è l'attuale piazza Woodrow Wilson. La stazione Zuid è stata la prima stazione della città, costruita nelle Muinkmeersen, un'area di pascolo dei monaci dell'abbazia di San Pietro. La stazione è stata inaugurata il 28 settembre 1837 come stazione terminale della linea ferroviaria Gand - Malines. L'anno successivo la linea ferroviaria è stata estesa verso Ostenda e Kortrijk. Il primo edificio della stazione divenne presto troppo piccolo e fu demolito nel 1848. Il nuovo edificio della stazione fu progettato da Auguste Payen ed è stato completato nel 1850. Era composto da due edifici separati, collegati da un tetto di vetro con a ovest il servizio merci e a est il servizio passeggeri.
