Moerkensheide accoglie gruppi piccoli e grandi ed è facilmente raggiungibile in autobus e treno.
Scuole soggiornano a Moerkensheide con classi in bosco, giornate di riflessione e formazione, settimane di lavoro scolastico.
Movimenti giovanili e lavoro giovanile organizzano qui campi (tende), bivacchi, weekend, corsi e formazione per i giovani.
