Appena fuori dal Boekenbergpark si trova il quartiere Unitas, un progetto dell'architetto Eduard Van Steenbergen. Il quartiere è nato nel 1924 e consta di 202 abitazioni in stile cottage inglese. Van Steenbergen ha fatto leva sulla popolarità dei quartieri giardino. Questi erano quartieri urbani che venivano dotati di un carattere di villaggio.
Le abitazioni Unitas sembrano molto simili tra loro, ma Van Steenbergen ha comunque previsto differenze sottili, ad esempio nei serramenti o nei colori utilizzati. Le modifiche nel corso degli anni hanno però un po' alterato quell'aspetto. Un piano di gestione del 2018 mira a ripristinare l'immagine originale.
