La torre della chiesa originale fu detronata nell'ottobre del 1918 e nella sua caduta distrusse parte della navata. La chiesa fu ricostruita nel 1924 nello stile di Ieper. Il pezzo forte della chiesa è il monumento funebre di Jacob de Thiennes (morto nel 1534), signore di Rumbeke e di sua moglie Katharina van Oignies (morta nel 1545). Inoltre, c'è un battistero romanico in pietra bianca (circa XII secolo), un banco per la comunione scolpito in legno di quercia (1734), un pulpito (1630), alcuni dipinti e il particolare seggiolino per le preghiere del conte di Rumbeke. San Biagio è venerato in occasione della sua festa di nome (3 febbraio).
