Questo tratto di trincea del 1915 è emerso negli anni '90 in occasione della costruzione di una nuova area industriale lungo il canale Ieper-IJzer. La 'Trincea Yorkshire' è nata dopo il primo attacco con gas nel 1915. Questa trincea della prima linea britannica è stata successivamente ampliata con un 'deep dug out' o un rifugio sotterraneo. I sentieri di dolomia ti mostrano i corridoi e le stanze del dug out. All'interno della trincea stessa puoi scoprire gli ingressi di questa costruzione sotterranea.
