Vloethemveld è un ex dominio militare e campo di prigionia situato a Zedelgem. Attualmente è un dominio naturale protetto e una zona della Direttiva Habitat Natura 2000. Vloethemveld è anche presente nell'inventario del patrimonio immobiliare. Le foreste di ciò che oggi è Vloethemveld furono donate nel 1296 dal conte delle Fiandre all'Ospedale di San Giovanni. L'ospedale utilizzava i proventi dell'affitto dei pascoli e dell'estrazione del legname per il proprio funzionamento.
