Il castello di Rullingen, trasformato in un castello d'acqua in stile Maasland nella prima metà del XVII secolo, è circondato su tre lati da frutteti ad alto fusto nella mappa del cabinetto di Ferraris (1771 – 1778). Nella mappa catastale pre-primitiva del 1809, un laghetto di forma irregolare indica la nuova sistemazione del parco, con a sud un grande frutteto di circa 2ha 23a conservato. L'attuale frutteto di circa 5ha 39are occupa la metà sud-est del dominio ed è rimasto ininterrottamente in uso come frutteto ad alto fusto.
