Il municipio costruito nel 1896 è un edificio in mattoni neoclassico. Nel 1926 fu ampliato con l'ex caffè De Swaene. In alto si può vedere un frontone triangolare con lo stemma di Grimminge. Un K.B. del 27 maggio 1844 concesse al comune uno stemma: una pianta di tabacco verde su uno sfondo dorato, che si erge su una base di sinopel (verde scuro). Sotto l'edificio si trova ancora un bagno pubblico con accanto una porticina di un locale che fungeva da deposito per i cadavere. In basso a destra del muro di affissione si trova ancora una pietra d'appello dalla quale il gendarme annunciava messaggi importanti.
Macchie di rondini abitano ancora oggi sotto il grondaio.
