Costruito nel 1930, è stato realizzato in occasione del centenario del Belgio per la città di Anversa. Dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, passò sotto il controllo delle suore agostiniane e negli anni '80 divenne parte del gruppo sanitario Monica. È stato ampiamente ristrutturato negli anni '90. L'ospedale si specializza in oncologia, servizi medici di emergenza, chirurgia cardiovascolare e chirurgia orale e maxillofasciale.
