Il campo si trova a sud-est di Liegi, tra alberi secolari e si snoda attraverso colline, pianure, boschi, laghetti e arbusti colorati. I 18 buche sono estremamente diverse tra loro: le prime nove sono caratterizzate da un rilievo relativamente marcato e si trovano tra alberi ad alto fusto dove luce e ombra si alternano.
