Al centro del villaggio si trova la chiesa di San Martino. Questa chiesa è stata regolarmente ristrutturata nei secoli passati, ma la torre è realizzata in calcare di Tournai e risale al XIII secolo. Ha molto sofferto durante l'iconoclastia. Questo ha portato a 3 tipi di facciate laterali: un muro di mattoni settentrionale del XVIII secolo, che contrasta in modo stridente con la pietra da campo meridionale dell'epoca. Dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale, la facciata occidentale e la torre sono state ricostruite. Allora anche il mercato ha ricevuto un aspetto completamente nuovo sotto la direzione dell'architetto Valentin Vaerwyck, che ha progettato anche il municipio.
