Senenne è una frazione del comune belga di Anhée, situata nella regione vallona nella provincia di Namur. Situata sulle alture della sponda sinistra della Mosa, due chilometri a sud del villaggio di Anhée sulla strada per Grange, è composta da alcuni edifici, alcuni dei quali sono molto antichi.
Nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 maggio 1940, il colonnello Werner, a capo del gruppo di ricognizione della 5ª Divisione Corazzata, attraversa la Mosa presso la diga di Houx e si stabilisce sulla sponda sinistra, sulla Mont Noir.
I tedeschi avanzano verso Senenne, dove occupano il castello alle sei; i combattimenti lì erano seri ma squilibrati, poiché le truppe francesi avevano solo poche ore per adattarsi.
