L'acqua dà vita a una città! La Schelda è naturalmente la vena blu di Anversa, ma in città c'è acqua anche altrove. Lungo la IJzerlaan trovi dal 2018 una nuova fonte d'acqua. Il canale va dall'Asiadok al Lobroekdok. I piacevoli lungofiumi rappresentano un luogo ideale per fermarsi un attimo.
La IJzerlaan si trova nel cuore di Anversa-Dam. Questo quartiere non è grande, ma è molto diversificato. Ex edifici industriali, abitazioni, il sito del macello e aziende: li trovi tutti su un fazzoletto. E ci sono anche i caffè, i fast food e i ristoranti in Damplein e in altri angoli di questo quartiere speciale.
