Il Pont de Liège è la prima struttura sulla Semois.
La sua costruzione fu necessaria a partire dal 1069 per garantire il passaggio dell'importante via commerciale tra Verdun e Liegi . È stato distrutto più volte dal ghiaccio alla deriva. Ci volle fino al 1598 per un edificio in pietra , che Vauban rafforzò nel 1680 con un'opera difensiva sulla riva sinistra. Nel 1778 fu ricostruito.
Il ponte fu allora chiamato Oude Brug (Ponte Vecchio) . Il fascino di questo ponte fu accresciuto nel 1939 con l'installazione di due imponenti statue sulla riva destra. Uno in memoria di Godfried van Bouillon e l'altro dedicato a Sant'Arnaldo.
Ora troviamo la statua di Godefroy de Bouillon ai piedi del castello, l'altra è sul colle "Auclin".
Il nuovo ponte risale al 1951.
