A metà della salita, questa panchina invita a riposare un momento. Qui hai una vista splendida su campi secolari, il nastro verde della valle e se guardi attentamente puoi vedere la torre della chiesa di Nostra Signora di Tielt. Il fondo del sentiero lungo il margine del bosco è sabbioso, l'argilla è stata erosa e qua e là puoi vedere pezzi di arenaria ferrosa marrone. Poco più avanti c'è un piccolo pero come presagio dei grandi frutteti situati più a sud a Meensel-Kiezegem.
