La maggior parte delle sorgenti del Triffoy nascono 2-3 km prima della confluenza con l'Hoyoux. L'acqua freddissima e con portata pressoché costante, anche nei periodi di maggiore siccità, e le numerose e generose cascate formate dalle più maestose rocce di travertino offrono uno spettacolo naturale continuo.
