Questa porta neogotica in pietra calcarea fu costruita nel 1838 dal principe François-Joseph de Riquet de Caraman-Chimay sul sito di un'antica porta in stile rinascimentale costruita da Charles de Croy intorno al 1606.
Il monumento si apre su tre archi semicircolari , di cui due destinati ai pedoni e uno ai veicoli, e si caratterizza per il fregio di archi trilobati e l'imponente archivolto su culottes. Ai lati, sopra un filatterio con il motto "JUVAT PIETAS", pende lo stemma principesco in pietra bianca . Sulla pietra del coronamento è incisa un'iscrizione illeggibile. Al piano superiore, la struttura è costituita da un attico tra doppie volute e da un cuscino triangolare decorato da una sfera e decorato da un cartiglio sbiadito.
