Partendo dal villaggio di Moorsel, ci dirigiamo per una piacevole passeggiata nella natura andata e ritorno verso i Faluintjes, una delle zone verdi più belle della regione dei Faluintjes. Già all'inizio, passiamo accanto all'imponente Castello d'Acqua di Moorsel, un castello medievale menzionato per la prima volta nel XII secolo e per secoli sede dei signori di Moorsel. Il castello è completamente circondato dall'acqua ed è oggi considerato uno dei migliori castelli d'acqua meglio conservati delle Fiandre.
Proseguendo, camminiamo attraverso i Faluintjes, noti per i loro prati umidi, i prati da fieno e i tortuosi ruscelli. Questa preziosa area naturale è un paradiso per gli uccelli delle praterie e ospita una ricca flora. Tenete presente che il terreno può essere a tratti fangoso, quindi è sicuramente consigliato indossare scarpe da trekking impermeabili. Una splendida passeggiata piena di natura, tranquillità e storia. 🌿🥾
