Baden è un comune svizzero di 19 168 abitanti del Canton Argovia, nel distretto di Baden del quale è capoluogo; ha lo status di città.
Sorge sulla riva sinistra del fiume Limmat, a circa 25 km dalla città di Zurigo; è conosciuta come centro termale sin dell'epoca romana e come città sede dell'industria elettromeccanica Brown, Boveri & Cie divenuta poi ABB.
