Adelboden è un comune svizzero di 3 371 abitanti del Canton Berna, nella regione dell'Oberland , noto internazionalmente per le gare di sci alpino che vi si svolgono nella stagione invernale.
Adelboden si trova nell'Oberland Bernese, 40 km a sud-est da Thun, 70 km da Berna, ai piedi della valle del fiume Engstligen . È un villaggio di montagna situato su una terrazza collinare rivolta a sud, verso le Engstligenfälle .
