La battaglia di Neuenegg si svolse il 5 marzo 1798 a Neuenegg, tra le truppe bernesi e francesi, durante l'invasione francese in Svizzera.
Il 2 marzo 1798 le truppe friburghesi si arresero senza combattere e le armate francesi avanzarono ora da Soloturno e Friburgo nell'Üechtland verso Berna. L'esercito francese a Friburgo, sotto il comando del brigadiere generale Pigeon, si mosse con circa 10.000 uomini verso Neuenegg. Nella notte tra il 4 e il 5 marzo, i francesi sopraffecero il piccolo contingente bernese che vigilava sul passaggio sopra la Sense a Neuenegg. Da parte bernese, nella notte venne convocato il Landsturm di Berna. Nella città di Berna, il generale aggiunto Johann Weber mobilitò i soldati disponibili, 2300 uomini, e partì la mattina del 5 marzo 1798 verso Neuenegg.
