Windhausen am Harz è una frazione del comune di Bad Grund nel distretto di Göttingen in Bassa Sassonia.
Windhausen si trova sia sul margine occidentale dell'Oberharz che su quello del parco naturale Harz. Si trova al confluenza del fiume Markau, Schlungwasser. A nord-est si trova Bad Grund, a sud Badenhausen, a sud-ovest Eisdorf e a nord-ovest Gittelde.
