Rietschen, sorabo superiore Rěčicy, è un comune nel distretto di Görlitz, nell'est dello stato libero di Sassonia. Il comune è sede della comunità amministrativa di Rietschen.
Nel comune vivono circa 2600 abitanti, 1100 dei quali nel capoluogo omonimo. Il comune si trova completamente nell'area di insediamento sorabo dell'Alta Lusazia, ma la maggior parte dei luoghi è già stata in gran parte germanizzata sin dalla metà del XIX secolo.
