Il comune è composto dal capoluogo e dalle frazioni di Opsen, Kappenstein, Mümmelbach e Oppertsau. Quest'ultima è un luogo "diviso": attraversa la frontiera statale tra Renania-Palatinato e Nordrhein-Westfalen. La parte appartenente a Nordrhein-Westfalen è scritta Opperzau e fa parte del comune di Windeck nella regione di Rhein-Sieg.
