Emmerich (tedesco: Emmerich am Rhein, letteralmente: Emmerich sul Reno) è una città e un comune sul Reno nello stato tedesco della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, situato sulla riva destra (settentrionale) del Reno, a circa 10 km a nord di Kleve e a circa cinque chilometri a sud del confine olandese a 's-Heerenberg. Il comune di Emmerich ha 29.571 abitanti[1] e copre un'area di circa 80 km². Il punto più alto del comune è l'Eltenberg a 82 m sopra il livello del mare.
