La Lechstaustufe 23 – Merching, che dal 2003 si chiama Mandichosee, è una diga del Lech tra Landsberg am Lech e Augusta. Serve per la generazione di energia idroelettrica attraverso gli impianti Uniper GmbH, ma anche per il tempo libero.
Il lago artificiale ha acquisito una grande importanza come paradiso per il tempo libero per il relax nelle vicinanze di Augusta; è l'acqua più grande nel distretto di Aichach-Friedberg. La diga si trova a ovest del comune di Merching e a est di Königsbrunn. Il nome Mandichosee è stato dato al lago artificiale nel 2003 in onore del principe bavarese Mandicho.
