Nonnenwerth è un'isola sul Reno tra Rolandswerth e Bad Honnef, di fronte all'isola di Grafenwerth.
L'isola è, con interruzioni, dal principio del XII secolo sede di un monastero, fondato dalle benedettine e rilevato nel 1854 dalle francescane. Da allora il monastero ospita anche un'istituzione educativa francescana, che iniziò come collegio femminile e in seguito divenne un liceo. Nel 2020 è avvenuta la privatizzazione dell'isola e della scuola. Nel 2022 la scuola è stata chiusa.
