Nonnenwerth is een Rijn-eiland tussen Rolandswerth en Bad Honnef tegenover het eiland Grafenwerth.
Het eiland is met onderbrekingen sinds het begin van de 12e eeuw de locatie van een klooster, dat werd opgericht door de benedictinessen en in 1854 werd overgenomen door de franciscanessen. Sindsdien huisvest het klooster ook een franciscaans onderwijsinstituut, dat begon als meisjespensionaat en later uitgroeide tot een algemeen vormend gymnasium. In het jaar 2020 vond de privatisering van het eiland en de school plaats. In 2022 werd de school gesloten.
