Il deposito locomotive di Rheine è un ex deposito ferroviario a Rheine. Può vantare una lunga storia e anche la città di Rheine ha una lunga tradizione ferroviaria risalente al XIX secolo nella regione.
Il deposito si divide storicamente in due aree: il deposito di Rheine e la stazione dei passeggeri. Nel 1964, i due furono uniti. Situato geograficamente nel nord-ovest della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, a confine con la Bassa Sassonia, vennero servite diverse linee incrociate in tutte le direzioni. Questo conferì a Rheine lo status di stazione nodo.
