La casa Buddenburg si trovava nel quartiere di Lippholthausen della città di Lünen nel distretto di Unna. Il castello neoclassico, costruito intorno al 1845, fu demolito nel 1977 dopo un lungo periodo di degrado a causa della sua pericolosità strutturale.
La casa Buddenburg fu menzionata per la prima volta nel 1293. Fu costruita dai fratelli Gottschalk Budde e Gottfried Budde come castello d'acqua e prendeva il nome da loro. Su ordine dei conti di Mark, però, dovette essere demolita di nuovo poco dopo. Non è chiaro se questo castello si trovasse nell'attuale piazza del castello.
