Il Döllbach, nel suo tratto superiore conosciuto anche come Wassergraben e nel tratto medio come Döllau, è un affluente lungo circa 23,5 km, situato a sud-est e orograficamente a destra della Fliede, nei distretti di Bad Kissingen in Baviera e Fulda in Assia orientale.
Il Döllbach ha origine come Wassergraben nella Hohen Rhön. La sua sorgente si trova all'interno del parco biosferico della Rhön, nell'area del poligono di tiro di Wildflecken, al margine sud-occidentale dell'area naturale protetta Haderwald, istituita nel 1997 e di circa 17,83 km² di estensione. Si trova al confine tra Baviera e Assia, circa 4 km a est-nord-est del villaggio di Motten, il comune omonimo, tra la Dalherdakuppe a nord e la Dreifeldskuppe a sud-est, a circa 710 m s.l.m.
