Il lago Neuhäuser è un lago di resti di una miniera di circa 155 ettari, formato dall'allagamento dell'ex miniera di Holzweißig-Ovest. Il lago si trova nella regione dei laghi sassoni, a sud dell'area di protezione del paesaggio di Goitzsche e a nord della città di Delitzsch.
Il lago Neuhäuser si trova al confine nord-occidentale dello Stato libero della Sassonia con la Sassonia-Anhalt, a un'altezza di circa 78 m sul livello del mare. A sud del lago si trova Benndorf, frazione della città di Delitzsch, e a nord il comune unificato di Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Si trova nella regione dei laghi sassoni, a sud del grande lago Goitzsche e delle acque del lago Ludwig e del lago Paupitz.
