Il gruppo locale di Neustadt dell'Associazione degli operatori radioamatori in telecomunicazione e posta ha realizzato una stazione radio relè sulla cima, che è stata approvata il 30 novembre 1971 da un'agenzia predecessore dell'attuale Bundesnetzagentur e da allora è gestita dagli operatori radioamatori. Il relè DBØXK è udibile sulla frequenza di uscita di 145,700 MHz. La frequenza di ingresso è di 145,100 MHz. Il relè è situato nella torre accanto alla Kalmithaus.
