La prima menzione dell'iniziazione della 'Liboriuskapelle' è registrata nel 1680. Essa apparteneva alla cripta sottostante (Einsiedelei) e nel 1901 fu sostituita da un altro edificio. Quest'ultimo fu distrutto nel 1944/45. L'attuale cappella è stata costruita nel 1951. Da qui si ha una vista sull'abbazia di 'Echternach', che fu il centro spirituale ed economico della regione dal 698 al 1795.
