Il torrente Sprockhöveler è un affluente sinistro della Ruhr inferiore, chiamato in onore della città di Sprockhövel, che sfocia nel territorio municipale di Hattingen con un corso che si dirige verso nord e nord-ovest.
Il torrente nasce a sud-ovest di Haßlinghausen, presso Halloh. Già qui deve rompere le dure sponde di arenaria che sono state estratte a Weuste.
