Il castello di Lichtenfels è un castello situato nel comune di Lichtenfels, dal quale prende il nome, nel distretto di Waldeck-Frankenberg in Assia. Si trova su un promontorio sopra il villaggio di Dalwigksthal e segna dall'alto l'ingresso del tributario Eder Orke nella Svizzera Örkese.
Il castello di altura si trova a circa 700 m a est-sudest della frazione comunale di Lichtenfels, Dalwigksthal, sopra la valle ricca di foreste e tortuosa del tributario Eder Orke, che a Dalwigksthal è alimentato dalla Wilde Aa. Si trova sul versante nordorientale dell'Eisenberg, che si innalza a 383 m.
