L'impianto di accumulo di Obermaubach a Obermaubach nel comune di Kreuzau nel distretto di Düren, NRW, è stato costruito negli anni 1933 e 1934 e funge da serbatoio di compensazione per i diversi affluenti del Rur e per controllare il rilascio dell'acqua nel Rur in modo il più uniforme possibile. Il lago artificiale si trova sia sul territorio del comune di Kreuzau che nella parte superiore nel territorio dei comuni di Hürtgenwald e Nideggen.
