Il grande magazzino Gebr. Hartoch era un grande magazzino nel centro della città vecchia di Düsseldorf e aveva diverse filiali a Düsseldorf.
Il commerciante ebreo Salomon Hartoch, originario di Aquisgrana, aprì il suo primo negozio a Düsseldorf nel 1872. Negli anni seguenti, l'azienda continuò ad espandersi. Nel febbraio 1894, la società "Gebrüder Hartoch" con i soci Simon Hartoch e Theodor Hartoch, entrambi figli di Salomon e di Rebecca, nata Russ, fu registrata nel registro di Düsseldorf. Nel 1896, gli architetti Jacobs & Wehling costruirono un nuovo edificio. Il grande magazzino Hartoch per articoli di breve durata, manifattura e lana si trovava in Bolkerstraße 19/21. I costi di costruzione ammontarono a 110.000 marchi. L'edificio di tre piani presentava una vetrina continua dall'ingresso al primo piano. Il secondo piano era completamente vetrato e mostrava arcate cieche. Un mezzo tetto con frontone cieco decorava la zona del tetto.
