La strada dei bordelli esiste qui dal 1900, allora con il nome di Heilig-Geist-Straße. È considerata una delle strade dei bordelli più antiche di Germania. Si tratta di una strada senza uscita con una barriera visiva. Si trova a nord-ovest del centro città, circa 200 metri a sud-ovest dell'Università di Duisburg-Essen e 300 metri a nord-ovest del centro commerciale Limbecker Platz.
